California Wildfires: Five k*lled, more than 100,000 ordered to evacuate

As wildfires spread across the hugely populated Los Angeles metropolitan area, including the Hollywood Hills, five (5) people have been killed with above 100,000 ordered to evacuate.

Fire officials disclosed, approximately 1,000 buildings have been destroyed in the rich Pacific Palisades neighbourhood of the city of Los Angeles.

Also, another 1,000 structures destroyed or damaged in the Foothills near Altadena and Pasadena, North of LA.

According to aljazeera.com:

According to the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (Cal Fire), the fires began at 10:30am (18:30GMT) on Tuesday in Pacific Palisades, where nearly 1,200 hectares ( about 3,000 acres) were burned.
