Officials have however warned, the actual toll will remain uncertain until it’s safe for investigators to access neighborhoods.

Since the wildfires began, more than 100,000 people have been ordered to evacuate their neighbourhoods in Southern California.

Firefighters clinched some progress as Santa Ana winds weakened, however, gusts heightened across the region as the day went on.

Officials also started an enormous response to a new fire near the border of Los Angeles and Ventura Counties, which resulted to evacuations as residents battle with air pollutions as well as adverse conditions.

Between the coastal Palisades Fire, as much as 10,000 buildings have been destroyed.

This is now the most destructive fire disaster ever to hit Los Angeles County, and the Eaton Fire, which has devastated communities.
