The Wildfires in Los Angeles started last Tuesday and has ravaged more than 12,000 structures, killing at least 24.
More than 100,000 people are under evacuation orders, as thousands have been displaced.
According to Governor Newsom: “The 799-acre #HurstFire is now 97% contained.
The unified command of @Angeles_NFL, @LAFD, and @LACoFDPIO continue to build and improve containment lines.”
Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau, has assured that Canada will continue to help its American friends as they battle the wildfires which may emerge the most expensive in US history with more than $200 billion in losses.
Trudeau said, “more Canadian crews are on the way”.
