Prime Minister of the United States (US), Keir Starmer, has expressed deep shock following the aircraft collision that happened near the Ronald Reagan National Airport, Washington DC on Wednesday evening.

The UK PM said, “I am deeply shocked by the tragic scenes coming out of Washington D.C.”, and sent “UK’s condolences to the United States”.
An American Airlines passenger plane collided midair with an Army Black Hawk Helicopter at Potomac River near the Reagan Airport; twenty-eight (28) bodies have been found so far.
In his condolence message, PM Starmer wrote: “I am deeply shocked by the tragic scenes coming out of Washington D.C. My thoughts are with all those on board and their families desperately waiting for news.
I pay tribute to the emergency services for their dedicated work in such challenging conditions and I send the UK’s condolences to the United States at this time.”
