No one is expected to have survived after a passenger plane collided with an Army Black Hawk Helicopter in midair over the Potomac River in Washington DC on Wednesday evening.

Sixty-four (64) people were on board the American Airlines Plane, and three (3) on the Army helicopter when the collision occurred near Reagan Airport in the US Capital.
John Donnelly, Emergency Services Chief, said, twenty-eight (28) bodies have been recovered from the River so far.
Sean Duffy, Transportation Secretary, said, it was a “clear night”, the pilots were “experienced” and everything was standard in the lead-up to the unfortunate incident, however, “obviously something happened”.
Investigators are focused on “why the helicopter was flying at that location”.
