Dare added, “the proposed tax bills are designed for the collective benefit of Nigeria.”

He tagged President Bola Tinubu “a steadfast progressive”, saying, the former Lagos State Governor “remains committed to this path, ensuring these reforms should not be swayed by opposition but will be advanced through understanding and cooperation for the nation’s progress”.

According to Sunday Dare: “The proposed tax bills are designed for the collective benefit of Nigeria and are currently undergoing the essential legislative scrutiny. Undermining these processes with unproductive reactions will only worsen our situation.

These tax reforms, when signed into law, will be one of the greatest legislation of our time as a country.

President Tinubu, a steadfast progressive, remains committed to this path, ensuring these reforms should not be swayed by opposition but will be advanced through understanding and cooperation for the nation’s progress.

The role of the representatives of the people and their commitment is recognized.

Looking at the world through a straw and telling others the world is small is erroneous.

However, we must consider the broader implications of these reforms. Electoral cycles come and go, but the structures we build now will affect generations.

Let us work together to refine these bills, ensuring they serve the greater good rather than resist changes that could propel our nation forward.

Engagement, not opposition, discourse not diatribe will lead us to solutions that benefit all. And that is what Mr. President is about.

Let’s prioritize dialogue and constructive criticism over threats and divisive comments. Identity politics is divisive and counterproductive.

Fostering an atmosphere of cooperation that reflects the unity and resilience of Nigeria should be paramount now.

Together, we can navigate this period of change to secure a prosperous future for all Nigerians.”
