192 lawmakers in total voted to get him impeached, above the 151 votes required for it to succeed.
Prime Minister Han Duck-Soo took charge after President Yoon was impeached by parliament after his failed attempt to impose martial law on 3 December.
Duck-Soo was supposed to pull South Korea out of its political woes, however, opposition MPs argued that he was refusing demands to complete Yoon’s impeachment process.
