The Governor made the statement during the commissioning of a special school dedicated to empowering the girl-child.

Fubara assured, “our focus remains unwavering: we will complete every meaningful project, correct past wrongs as much as we can and deliver on our promises to the people of Rivers State.”

According to Governor Fubara: “It was an honour today to commission a landmark project that embodies our commitment to purposeful governance; a special school dedicated to empowering the girl-child. This project holds deep significance as it symbolizes the future of our great state and nation. We are building a foundation for future mothers, wives, and leaders whose contributions will positively shape our collective destiny.

Leadership is about prioritizing projects that make meaningful impact

on the lives of the people. It is not just about building infrastructure, but it is about ensuring that every project adds real value to our communities. That is the essence of our administration’s “People First” mantra.

We have faced challenges, including attempts to stifle our influence and discourage our supporters, but the truth remains unshaken.

So, to those who have resolutely stood by us, especially the Eze Ekpeye and other traditional rulers who have faced persecution for their loyalty, I assure you that justice and recognition are on the way.

Our focus remains unwavering: we will complete every meaningful project, correct past wrongs as much as we can and deliver on our promises to the people of Rivers State. Like the eagle, a symbol of resilience and strength, we will continue to soar high in the face of challenges.

Thank you, Ekpeye Kingdom, for your love, support, and this chieftaincy title bestowed on me . Together, we will continue building a Rivers State we can all be proud of.”
