The Spaniard made the statement at his press conference ahead of the top flight game at home.
Emery’s Villans are yet to clinch a win after eight (8) encounters in all competitions; they have recorded five (5) defeats and three (3) draws.
On Wednesday 4 December, 2024, at the Villa Park, Aston Villa will face Brentford in the Premier League 2024/25 match at 21:15 (WAT).
At his press conference, Emery said:

“We are going to try today this afternoon but I don’t know how he is going to feel. It depends on the training today… I don’t know now [if he is able to play tomorrow].”
On tomorrow night and our fans…
“We will need them supporting us like they’re doing and of course, we need their energy. Hopefully they can transmit their energy, we can as well transmit to them our capacity to play being motivated being intense with good and positive energy and then playing intelligently.”
On Brentford…
“I want to dominate and control the game against the opposition but that is going to be very difficult. Their goalkeeper is playing fantastic, they have very good players in different highs of the pitch and they have players who are fast, skillful and play in good combinations.”
