Sunshine Stars Football Club based in Akure, Ondo State, has announced the appointment of Abubakar Bala as new technical adviser.

The announcement is coming after the Akure Gunners lost to Niger Tornadoes in the top flight encounter on Sunday.
Niger Tornadoes defeated Sunshine Stars 4-1 in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) match on Sunday 15 December, 2024 at Bako Stadium, Minna, Niger State; the defeat leaves the club on the 18th spot of the table.
Sunshine Stars announced: “Abubakar Bala our new technical adviser.”
