Real Madrid manager, Carlo Ancelotti, following his side’s win over Getafe in the top flight encounter on Sunday said, the Los Blancos deserve to win because “we controlled the game”.

Ancelotti’s side’s win is coming as a response to their 2-0 defeat in the hands of Liverpool in the Uefa Champions League 2024/25 League Phase match in midweek.
On Sunday 1 December, 2024, Real Madrid beat Getafe 2-0 in the La Liga 2024/25 match at Santiago Bernabeu to move one (1) point close to Barcelona who are leaders.
In his post-victory comments, Ancelotti said: “We controlled the game well and deservedly won it.”
