Japan Airlines hit by cyber attack, flights delayed

Japan Airlines (JAL) has reportedly been struck by cyber attack which has resulted to some flights being delayed.

JAL has been battling “malfunctions in systems communicating with external systems” since shortly before 7:30am local time (23:30 GMT, Wednesday), the Airlines revealed on Thursday.

The Airlines further revealed, “We have identified the scope of the impact and are currently checking the status of the system recovery.”

JAL said, there were delays to both domestic and international flights which have forced it to suspend ticket sales for all services scheduled for Thursday.
