Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodimma, has presented the Imo State 2025 Budget Estimate to the Honourable Members of the Imo State House of Assembly for their consideration and approval.

Uzodimma said, “the budget, aptly christened “Budget of Expanded Economic Opportunities,” is proposed at a total sum of ₦755,588,041,220.”
According to Governor Uzodimma: “I had the honor of presenting the Imo State 2025 Budget Estimate to the Honourable Members of the Imo State House of Assembly for their consideration and approval.
The budget, aptly christened “Budget of Expanded Economic Opportunities,” is proposed at a total sum of ₦755,588,041,220. Of this amount, ₦112,302,000,000 is allocated to Recurrent Expenditure, constituting 14.9% of the total budget, while ₦643,286,041,220 is earmarked for Capital Expenditure, representing 85.1%.
Following the successful implementation of the 2024 Appropriation Bill, this proposal seeks to advance ongoing projects and programs aimed at creating broader opportunities for our people and economy.
Specifically, we aim to complete key capital projects, expand our road networks, complete the electricity projects, and enhance our hospitality and agricultural sectors to boost food security. Moreover, significant resources are allocated to complement our efforts in healthcare delivery, ensuring better access and quality for all.
I trust that the Honourable Members of IMHA will give this bill expedited attention, allowing for a seamless transition into its execution.”
