Alonso’s Black and Reds are gearing up for a showdown against the Bavarians in the DFB Cup on Tuesday night.
Bayer Leverkusen will travel to Allianz Arena to lock horns with Bayern Munich in the DFB Cup 2024/25 Round of 16 match on Tuesday 3 December, 2024 at 20:45 (WAT).
At his press conference ahead of the encounter in Munich, Alonso said: “the Pokal is a special competition.
“Heading away to Munich is probably the most difficult draw you can get in the cup.
“We are heading into the game with a good atmosphere and we want to have a complete performance.”
