“In his address, the Governor charged the new appointees to justify the confidence reposed in them by demonstrating commitment and integrity. He reminded them that their appointments were a call to serve the people of Delta State, not an avenue to pursue selfish ambitions or personal gain.
The commissions and boards inaugurated include the Delta State Sports Commission, Delta State Public Procurement Commission, Delta State House of Assembly Service Commission, and the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC). Others include the Delta State Waste Management Board, Delta State Urban Water Board, Delta State Traffic Management Authority Board, Traditional Medicine Board, and the Tourism Board.”
