Super Eagles B of Nigeria defeated the Black Galaxies of Ghana 3-1 in the CHAN 2025 qualifier at Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State on Saturday 28 December, 2024.

With this outcome, Nigeria secures its spot in the tournament which is scheduled to hold in Tanzania, Kenya, and Uganda from February 1-28, 2025.
Nigeria netted all three goals in the first 45 minutes; Sodiq Ismail, Nduka Junior and Savior Isaac netted in the 19th, 22nd and 26th minutes respectively.
Ghana’s consolation came in the 73rd minute through Stephen Amenkona.
The tie finished with a 3-1 aggregate after the first leg ended goalless.
