Biden In Angola: Both Leaders express ‘commitment to working together to address global challenges’

In his remarks to honor the past and future of the Angolan-U.S. relationship, President of the United States (US), Joe Biden, said: “President Lourenço, thank you for the warm welcome.

“It’s great to be in Angola.


“It was a pleasure to meet with President João Lourenço this morning to discuss the growing U.S.-Angolan relationship, and his and my commitment to working together to address global challenges – from defending workers to strengthening democracies.


“Two countries, one strong bond.

 

I look forward to seeing where the future takes the U.S.-Angola relationship.


“Today, I say to the people of Angola and all the people of Africa, there is nothing beyond our capacity if we do it together.


We can and will chart a future of great nations, worthy of the highest aspirations of every Angolan and every American.”
