The top flight encounter was Ruben Amorim’s first test as Manchester United new permanent manager.
English forward, Marcus Rashford, opened scoring for the Reds very early, in the 2nd minute, but, the hosts fought back and levelled two (2) minutes to the end of the first half through Omari Hutchinson.
Both sides had chances to win, however, were unable to convert; and the visitors have Cameroonian goalkeeper, Andre Onana, to thank for making a couple of beautiful saves.
With this result, Manchester United are 12th with 16 points, while Ipswich Town are 18th with 9 points.
