Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), at its headquarters in Abuja, issued Certificates of Return to Governor-Elect of Ondo State, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, alongside Deputy, Olayide Owolabi Adelami, following their victory at the recently conducted Ondo State Governorship Election 2024.

Aiyedatiwa and Adelami were welcomed by a crowd of supporters as they returned home with their Certificates of Return.
According to Ondo State APC: “It was a carnival-like atmosphere at the Akure Airport Today as Governor
@LuckyAiyedatiwa alongside his Deputy,
@OlayideOAdelami, returned home after receiving their certificates of return from the @inecnigeria in Abuja.
The Governor was welcomed by a crowd of supporters.
“In a short speech, Governor Aiyedatiwa appreciated the supporters, stressing that the victory is not for him alone but for the people of Ondo State.
“Governor Aiyedatiwa said now that the electoral process is complete, it is time to settle down to business of governance, urging the people of the State to continue to support his administration.”
