NEMA receive 40 Nigerian returnees from Sudan

National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) Kano Territorial Office, IOM alongside other critical stakeholders received forty (40) Nigerian returnees from Sudan.

The returnees arrived on 30 October, 2024 at Aminu Kano International Airport and comprised adult females, adult males, children, and infants.

According to NEMA: “NEMA Kano Territorial Office KTO, in collaboration with IOM and other critical stakeholders, participated in receiving and profiling Nigerian returnees from Sudan.


The returnees arrived Aminu Kano International Airport on 30 October 2024 at about 14:00 hours aboard Ethiopian airlines with 40 returnees on board. 


The returnees comprised adult females, adult males, children, and infants.


However, no medical cases were reported when compiling this report. 


Stakeholders in attendance include NEMA, IOM, NIS, Nigerian Custom, NCFRMI, NAPTIP, Police, DSS, and FAAN.”
