According to Prime Minister of Israel:
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, following the Government’s approval of the 2025 state budget:
“We convened for an important and difficult – but necessary – budget in a year of war.
The budget we are allocating for the Defense Ministry does not include the strengthening components of the Nagel Committee recommendations, which I believe will reach us on a serious scale. But, of course, this is the committee’s decision. We will see this in mid-December.
This means that we will be able to add to the defense budget the strengthening components according to the Nagel Committee. It is possible we will succeed in putting this in the current budget, before it passes in January, and if necessary, we will submit a supplemental budget.
