The Governor said, the reconstruction of the Orlu Urban road is one of the numerous projects ongoing in the Southeastern State, adding, “this reconstruction effort is aimed at transforming commercial activities by enhancing accessibility and reducing travel time for residents and traders alike”.
According to Governor Uzodimma: “By prioritizing infrastructure, we are laying a solid foundation for sustained economic growth, thereby creating a more prosperous future for our people. Among the numerous projects underway in the State is the reconstruction of the Orlu Urban road, which connects Ihioma/Orlu/Umuna, a critical artery in our State’s road network.
I was pleased to observe the steady progress of this project during an inspection, which is a significant part of our broader road revolution initiative.
This reconstruction effort is aimed at transforming commercial activities by enhancing accessibility and reducing travel time for residents and traders alike. The economic benefits are already evident as local businesses along the route prepare to capitalize on improved connectivity.
While we anticipate the prompt completion of this road, our commitment extends to addressing other roads requiring urgent attention across Imo State.”
