Austrian Foreign Minister, Alexander Schallenberg, has described the decision by the International Criminal Court (ICC) to issue arrest warrants for Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, and former Minister of Defence, Yoav Gallant, as “utterly incomprehensible”.

He said, “this decision is a disservice to the Court‘s credibility.”
According to Schallenberg: “The #ICC decision to issue arrest warrants for Benjamin Netanyahu and Yoav Gallant is utterly incomprehensible. International Law is non negotiable and applies everywhere, at all times. But this decision is a disservice to the Court‘s credibility.
“It is absurd to create an equivalence between members of a democratically elected government and the leader of a terrorist organization.”
