More than two hundred (200) have been killed in the city of Valencia following the flood that struck Spain.

Arsenal Spanish manager, Mikel Arteta, has sent his sympathy to everyone affected by the “terrible disaster”.
He said, “I would like to talk about the terrible disaster that is affecting my country at the moment. I want to send from our side our thoughts, our full support and our sympathy to everyone who is affected.”
Arteta made the statement at his press conference prior to the top flight encounter against Newcastle United
The Premier League 2024/25 game which has come and gone saw Newcastle United emerge victorious by a lone goal over Arsenal, thanks to a 12th minute goal by Swedish forwars, Alexander Isak.
According to arsenal.com, Arteta said: “Before we start to talk about football, I would like to talk about the terrible disaster that is affecting my country at the moment. I want to send from our side our thoughts, our full support and our sympathy to everyone who is affected – all the families and all the individuals. Obviously all of the country that is pulling together to try to find the best possible solution in this difficult moment. From here, I just want to show my full support and ask everybody in the way that they can to support because it’s terrible what has happened.”
