Bayern Munich manager, Vincent Kompany, said, his side’s next opponent, Augsburg, “have always been tough for Bayern of late”.

The Belgian manager made the statement ahead of the top flight encounter between his side, Bayern Munich and Augsburg.
Bayern Munich will face Augsburg in the Bundesliga 2024/25 match at Allianz Arena on Friday 22 November, 2024 at 20:30 (WAT).
In his press conference ahead of the match tonight, Kompany said:
On Augsburg…
“We want to win tomorrow and perform how we were performing before the international break. Augsburg have always been tough opponents for Bayern of late. It’s a derby. I know Augsburg coach Jess Thorup from Belgium”
Squad Update…
“A lot of the internationals have come back with confidence. João Palhinha is out. Mathys Tel has picked up a knock. Our confidence remains with this squad that we will get the results. We’ve trained hard this week, we’re feeling good.”
