President of the United States (US), Joe Biden, has met with President of China, Xi Jinping, “for a discussion on a range of bilateral, regional, and global issues.”

According to President Biden: “Yesterday I met with President Xi for a candid, constructive discussion on a range of bilateral, regional, and global issues.
We both underscored the importance of maintaining a responsible channel of communication between the United States and China.”
