The United States (US) is set to help Ukraine restore its infrastructure and strengthen its energy system ahead of the winter season.

Recent Russian attacks have destroyed several infrastructure and energy system in Ukraine.
European Commission President, Ursula Von Der Leyen said, “Russia is relentlessly targeting Ukraine’s energy infrastructure.”
President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, expressed his gratitude to the US for its ironclad support to Ukraine in its war against Russia.
The Ukrainian President received USAID Administrator, Samantha Power, and both discussed about protecting the people of Ukraine and “bolstering our resilience ahead of the winter season.”
According to President Zelenskyy: “I had a meeting with USAID Administrator Samantha Power @PowerUSAID. We discussed protecting our people, bolstering our resilience ahead of the winter season—restoring infrastructure in Ukraine, strengthening our energy system, and constructing school shelters.
We deeply appreciate all the support the United States provides to Ukraine—military, political, economic, and humanitarian.
Together, we are defending not only Ukraine but every nation that aspires to live in freedom, democracy, and peace.”
