German Chancellor, Bundeskanzler Olaf Scholz, said, the United States (US) and Germany “stand up for the sovereignty and integrity of Ukraine”.

Scholz is hosting US President, Joe Biden, alongside other European Leaders in a meeting in Germany with discussion focused on the situation in Ukraine and the Middle East.
The meeting is coming following recent Russian strikes in Ukraine, and heightening tensions in Lebanon as a result of the fighting between Israel and Hezbollah.
Scholz said: “Your visit is a strong signal of our transatlantic unity, and of our friendship.
Together we stand up for the sovereignty and integrity of Ukraine.
For a strong NATO that defends every square inch of its territory.
For the basic principles of a free world.
Thank you, Joe.”
