According to Nigeria National Grid: “Nigeria’s Federal Government spends ₦29.3 BILLION to repair 266 electricity towers damaged by vandals across the country between Jan 2022 and Oct 2024!
That’s approximately ₦110M per tower. Vandalism has affected power availability nationwide, with Nigeria losing $26BN yearly to power failures.”
