Former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has sent his felicitations to former Governor of Kano State, Rabiu Kwankwaso, on the occasion of his 68th birthday.

Kwankwaso was born on 21 October, 1956 in Kwankwaso, Northern Region, British Nigeria (now in Kano State, Nigeria).
The 2023 Presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) tagged Kwankwaso “a time-tested political leader”, adding, he “served the good people of Kano State and Nigeria in different capacities”.
Atiku wrote: “On behalf of my family, I wish to felicitate with my brother, Engr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, @KwankwasoRM, on the occasion of his 68th birthday.
Engr. RKwankwaso is a time-tested political leader who has served the good people of Kano State and Nigeria in different capacities.
His towering political figure is a testimonial to his patriotic spirit and doggedness.
I wish him many more years of fruitful service to our nation.”
