United Nations Interim Force In Lebanon (UNIFIL) peacekeepers delivered water to Tebnin Governmental Hospital in Lebanon today, Monday 21 October, 2024.

The peacekeepers had to give “urgent support” to ensure the delivery of water to the hospital as “humanitarian partners were unable to safely access the area” due to intense fighting between Israel and Hezbollah.
According to UNIFIL: “Today, peacekeepers delivered water to Tebnin Governmental Hospital & @RedCrossLebanon medevac centre, both facing severe shortages since September. With humanitarian partners unable to safely access the area, we gave urgent support while we work together on a long-term solution.”
