The Israeli PM’s message is coming few days after a failed attempt to assassinate him and his wife at his residence.
A “drone attack” was reported at Netanyahu’s residence which forced heavy security to move and surround the area.
Fortunately, the Israeli leader and his wife were not in the house at the time of the attack.
Via a video, in his message to President Macron, PM Netanyahu said: “I was deeply disappointed. I appreciated very much that he stood with us at the beginning of the war.
“But as time progressed, I saw he was taking a position that is against our common interests.
“He put an embargo on Israel.
“I don’t see Iran put an embargo on Hezbollah. I don’t see Iran put an embargo on Hamas and Houthis.”.
Netanyahu asked: “why put an embargo on Israel that is fighting a just war?”
He continued: “what I expect is the democracies to stand solidly behind us.”
