Iran Military said, it fired “200 ballistic missiles of various types at Israel”, which Israel Defence Forces (IDF) confirmed “hit several targets in central and southern Israel”.
The attacks launched “directly from Iranian soil” forced thousands of Israelis to take cover in bomb shelters.
According to Iran Military: “Pres.
@drpezeshkian: They assassinated our guest in Tehran on the inauguration day. We were told to wait because they wanted to reach a ceasefire . That If we reacted, a ceasefire wouldn’t be possible. We waited for a ceasefire, but these treacherous people only escalated the violence, committing horrific acts in Gaza and Lebanon that no one has ever done in history and we were forced to respond.”
