Former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom (UK), Rishi Sunak, has made known his unequivocal support for Israel, saying, “Israel has the right to defend itself including against Hezbollah in Lebanon.”

Sunak’s statement is coming following Iran’s attacks against Israel.
Iran launched missiles over the Old City in Jerusalem, Israel Defence Forces (IDF) said.
According to Rishi Sunak: “Tonight’s attacks on Israel by Iran are a stark reminder of the existential threat it faces.
We stand unequivocally by Israel’s right to defend itself including against Hezbollah in Lebanon.”
Rishi Sunak’s Consecutive Party was ousted by Keir Starmer’s Labour Party in the UK General Election 2024 which held in July.
