The disaster described as “extremely powerful” by National Hurricane Center (NHC), has left more than three (3) million homes and businesses without power.
On the west coast of the coastal state, in St. Petersburg, the water supply has been cut, a crane crashed into a newspaper building, and a Major League Baseball stadium had its roof blown off.
Heavy rain also in some parts of the state.
Milton is moving into the Atlantic, however, will still produce hurricane-force winds as well as heavy rain over land.
