People of Florida are picking up the pieces after Hurricane Milton made landfall in Sarasota County, Florida on Wednesday 9 October, 2024 as an “extremely powerful” Category 3 Hurricane and cut through the coastal state as a Category 1 before moving offshore.
The State is expecting more casualties.
The disaster left more than three (3) milion homes and businesses without power after it made landfall on Wednesday night.
On Thursday, a man in his 60s was reported dead after obviously stepping on a downed power line while cleaning debris from Milton, Orange County Sheriff’s office reveals to CNN.
