Nigeria finished toppers of Group A with nine (9) points, discomfiting all opponents.
Coach Olowookere Bankole’s side defeated New Zealand, Ecuador and hosts, Dominican Republic 4-1, 4-0 and 1-0 respectively.
The Flamingoes of Nigeria will slug it out with the USA in the quarter finals of the tournament.
