Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham Hotspur scaled through Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City in the EFL Cup 2024/25 fourth round match at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Wednesday 30 October, 2024 to reach the quarter finals of the tournament.

In his post-victory comments, German forward, Werner, said: “It means a lot. Especially how the crowd reacted.”

Spurs manager, Postecoglou, said, his side had to do “everything” to douse their opponents and progress

The Australian manager said: “We had to do a bit of everything tonight. Credit to the lads.”
