Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki, announced: “In consolidation of efforts to diversify and strengthen our State’s economy, I commissioned the Edo Agriculture Hub on Airport Road, in the state capital.

“Agriculture remains a cornerstone of both Edo State’s and Nigeria’s economy, consistently ranking as one of the largest contributors to our Gross Domestic Product (GDP).
“As a government, we are providing essential leadership and strategic support, fostering an environment that enables growth. The establishment of this agriculture hub is a direct outcome of this vision.
“The facility integrates all aspects of food production and cultivation, housing 15 agencies and programmes. With sufficient space for expansion, it is positioned to support additional training and research initiatives over the next decade.”
