Akwa Ibom State: Governor Eno to partner federal agencies to establish petroleum depot in the state

Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Umo Eno, said, the South-South State is ready to collaborate with federal agencies to establish a petroleum depot in the state.

Umo said, “this initiative will help moderate the cost of petroleum products.”

According to Governor Umo: “I am pleased to share that Akwa Ibom State is ready to partner with federal agencies to establish a petroleum depot in the state. This initiative will help moderate the cost of petroleum products and ensure a steady supply for our people. 


During the inauguration of the State’s Petroleum Monitoring Committee and the Security Trust Fund Board, I made it clear that our focus is on smooth distribution, fair pump prices, and eliminating practices that hurt our economy.


We are committed to serving Akwa Ibom and enhancing the well-being of our people through these critical partnerships.”
