AFCON 2025 Qualification: Nigeria 1-0 Libya – Dele-Bashiru’s late goal earn Super Eagles maximum points

Nigeria struggled to a lone goal triumph over Libya in the Africa Cup Of Nations (AFCON) 2025 qualifier at Godswill Akpabio Stadium on Friday 11 October, 2024.

It took the Super Eagles 86 minutes to find the back of the net through midfielder, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, who got off the bench to replace Alex Iwobi.

With the outcome, Nigeria remain at the top of Group D with seven (7) points, while Libya are fourth with one (1) point.
