The Sparrow Hawks netted first early, in the 11th minute through Klidje, but the hosts fought back and levelled in the 29th minute through S. Benrahma.
The Lyon FC winger went ahead to score Algeria’s second in the 55th minute from the penalty spot; Aouar, Gouirir and Amoura scored for the Desert Warriors in the 68th, 86th and 90+5 minutes respectively.
