Manuel Neuer, Bayern Munich goalkeeper, has said, his side is fully aware of the “strengths and weaknesses” of Dinamo Zagreb, their opponent in the Uefa Champions League 2024/25 League Phase opener.

Bayern Munich will welcome Dinamo Zagreb at Allianz Arena in the UCL 2024/25 League Phase at 20:00 (WAT).
At his press conference ahead of the European clash, Neuer said, “we know what their strengths and weaknesses are, so we have to be on our toes.”

“It’s new for us, the way the league phase is structured. In the end, the most important thing is that the final is in Munich and we want to get there.”
About a possible “home final”
“2011/12 was also a season without a title. Everyone knows what happened the year after that. The motivation is very high. Of course it would be nice to reach the final in our own city. We have to do our homework in the first game.”
On Dinamo Zagreb
“We do our own analysis, we know what their strengths and weaknesses are. It is always helpful to play quickly, to be in the right positions. We know that number 10, Martin Baturina, is a strong player, and Bruno Petković in attack also brings power in the penalty area, so we have to be on our toes.”
