American rapper and record producer, Sean Combs, known popularly by his stage name, Diddy, has been charged with racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking with a federal indictment unsealed in New York on Tuesday.

The ‘I’ll Be Missing You’ singer “abused, threatened and coerced victims” from at least 2008 to the present, the New York US attorney said.
According to edition.cnn.com:
Prosecutors allege Combs created and ran a “criminal enterprise” through his business empire that engaged in crimes including sex trafficking, forced labor, kidnapping, arson, bribery and obstruction of justice, according to the federal indictment.
Diddy was arrested on Monday night at the Park Hyatt Hotel in Manhattan and taken into custody by Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), as disclosed by a source familiar with the negotiations.
