NLC President Ajaero released from DSS detention

The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) disclosed, President, Comrade Joe Ajaero has been freed from DSS detention.

According to the NLC: “NLC President, Comrade Joe Ajaero released from DSS detention.


“The struggle continues. We can’t be silenced.”

Following his “illegal detention”, the NLC released a ‘communique of the emergency National administrative council (NAC) of the Nigeria Labour Congress held on the 9th day of September, 2024’.

Via the communique, the NLC condemned the “brazen and illegal detention of Comrade Joe Ajaero by the Nigerian State without any legal warrant or justification”, and went ahead to “demand the immediate and unconditional released” of the NLC leader.
