The Governor “seized the opportunity to call upon Ndi Enugu and all Nigerians to embrace unity and work towards inclusive national economic development for the collective benefit of our great nation.”

He urged the people to support President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as well as leaders across the country “for Nigeria to truly thrive.”

According to Governor Mbah: “Today, we celebrated the Holy Mass at the Government House Chapel to mark Nigeria’s 64th Independence anniversary. I seized the opportunity to call upon Ndi Enugu and all Nigerians to embrace unity and work towards inclusive national economic development for the collective benefit of our great nation.

For Nigeria to truly thrive, we must foster an environment where every citizen feels included, ensuring that no one is left behind. This inclusivity is essential to unlocking our nation’s full economic potential. By supporting President @officialABAT and other leaders across the country, we can collectively realise the economic aspirations we all share.

While progress has been made, it is essential that we critically evaluate our current approach. We must determine whether incremental progress is sufficient or if we need to embrace disruptive innovation to address the development challenges before us. I remain confident that, through unity and deliberate action, we will continue to advance towards the prosperous future we all envision.

I want to sincerely thank the presiding bishop, the Catholic Bishop of Enugu Diocese, Most Rev. CVC Onaga, represented by the Vicar General, Monsignor Geoffrey Aguigwo. I appreciate Very Rev. Fr. Wilfred Agubuchie for his thoughtful words about our leadership during his homily. His encouragement and charge for all political leaders to work for the common good was soul-stirring. I also extend my gratitude to all the priests who joined us in the celebration.”
