NAFDAC and National Counter Terrorism Centre sign MoU to combat drug abuse and terr*rism

NAFDAC has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Counter Terrorism Centre (NCTC) to prevent the use of counterfeit medicines, curb drug abuse, and fight terrorism.

The MoU is part of a national effort to reduce illegal drug trade, prevent violent extremism, and manage hazardous chemicals that could be exploited by non-state actors.

This partnership underscores both Agencies’ commitment to safeguarding public health, national security, and preventing the misuse of drugs and chemicals in Nigeria.
