‘Jesus helps us overcome our fears’ – Pope Francis

Pope Francis, Head of the Catholic Church, Bishop of Rome and Sovereign of the Vatican City State, said, “Jesus helps us overcome our fears”.

Pope Francis preached: “Jesus conquers the hardness of our hearts. He helps us overcome our fears, opens our ears, and loosens our tongues. We can therefore rediscover our identity as beloved children of God and as brothers and sisters.

“Let us ask for the gift of peace for all people. We must say ‘no’ to rearmament and the exploitation of our common home! Instead, let us give our ‘yes’ to the encounter of peoples and cultures, and to humanity’s harmony with all creatures!”
