This is coming following Israeli strikes in Lebanon that “killed 558”.

UNICEF Lebanon said, “50 children were killed in a single day out of 558” lives lost in the Israeli attacks “yesterday”.

It added, “violence is escalating” in the region and “countless children are at risk”.

According to UNICEF Lebanon: “Yesterday was the worst day for Lebanon in 18 years.

50 children out of 558 killed in a single day. That’s more children than were killed in Lebanon in the past 11 months. Violence is escalating, putting countless children at risk.”
