Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Islamic Republic of Iran Foreign Minister, has reacted following Israeli airstrikes against Hezbollah in Lebanon.

He said, “Hezbollah is more than capable of flattening the bases and colonies of the Israeli regime”, however, the Iranian FM expects “Arab & Islamic world to stand up to Israel”.
Araghchi added, “Hezbollah’s ability to defend Lebanon against any aggression” should never be “underestimated”.
According to Araghchi: “Do not ever underestimate Hezbollah’s ability to defend Lebanon against any aggression.
Hezbollah’s true power is rooted in its own capacities and popular support. It is more than capable of flattening the bases and colonies of the Israeli regime.
This does not, however, excuse Arab & Islamic world from exercising duty to stand up to Israel.”
Israeli strikes in Lebanon on Monday alone killed more than 550 people with many more injured.
